By ordering goods or services, the following information and conditions are deemed to have been read and accepted

The general terms and conditions are deliberately kept short so that you, the customer, retain an overview.

  1. The prices indicated in the shop are gross. Swiss VAT is included.
  2. For deliveries abroad the prices apply (without VAT). The customs will add the respective value added tax of YOUR country to you again.
  3. The offer is valid while stocks last. If delivery bottlenecks occur as a result of many orders, we are always anxious to deliver the goods to you as quickly as possible or to make free partial deliveries.
  4. The delivery takes place according to the selected payment method and to the indicated forwarding expenses.
  5. The shipping costs are valid for Switzerland and also for deliveries abroad. The shipping costs are calculated according to the postal rate during the ordering process.
  6. Please note that when ordering from abroad you still have to pay the respective customs duties of your country. The best way to find out the amount of customs duty is to ask your local customs authority about the value of the goods.
  7. Minimum order value Fr. 20.-.
  8. Terms of payment: According to your selection when ordering.
  9. Reminder fees Fr. 10.--.
  10. Orders against advance payment (with 2 % discount!) are delivered after receipt of the invoice amount.
  11. Ownership: The goods remain our property until full payment has been received.

Warranty

Guarantee The guarantee is a contractual promise by meteo.shop to guarantee the functionality of a product for a certain period of time, provided it has been used properly. Here we guarantee 1 year

Extended warranty

The extended warranty is a mandatory legal obligation of the seller to ensure that his products are flawless at the time of purchase, even if this defect was not visible at the time of purchase itself. The law prescribes 2 years.

meteo.shop strives to deliver goods in perfect quality. In the case of defects notified in good time, meteo.shop assumes the warranty for the faultlessness and functionality of the item purchased by the customer during the statutory warranty period of usually two years from the date of delivery. It is at the discretion of meteo.shop to provide the warranty by free repair, equivalent replacement or by reimbursement of the purchase price. Further claims are excluded.

meteo.shop it is not possible to give assurances or guarantees for the topicality, completeness and correctness of the data as well as for the constant or undisturbed availability of the web page, its functionalities, integrated hyperlinks and further contents. In particular, it is neither assured nor guaranteed that the use of the website does not violate any rights of third parties not owned by meteo.shop.

Warranty claims expire two years after delivery of the goods. The guarantee extends only to constant function under technical basic conditions, as they existed at the time of the purchase. The extended limitation period (2 years) does not apply to consumables, power supplies, batteries, wearing parts such as fans anemometers, rain gauge rockers and other mechanically moving parts. In this regard, warranty claims expire one year after delivery.

The warranty also does not cover normal wear and tear or the consequences of improper handling or damage by the customer or third parties or defects attributable to external circumstances.

conclusion of a contract    

The offers on meteo.shop represent a non-binding invitation to the customer to order products and/or services from meteo.shop. By placing an order via this website, including acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions, the customer makes a legally binding offer to conclude a contract. meteo.shop will then send an automatic "order confirmation" by email confirming that the customer's offer (order) has been received by meteo.shop. Orders placed are binding for the customer.

The contract is concluded as soon as meteo.shop sends a declaration of acceptance by email confirming the dispatch of the ordered products or services.

Orders are only delivered after complete receipt of payment (exception: delivery against invoice) and if the goods are available. If, after conclusion of the contract, the ordered goods cannot be delivered or can no longer be delivered in full, meteo.shop is entitled to withdraw from the entire contract or from one part of the contract. If the customer's payment has already been received by meteo.shop, the payment will be refunded to the customer. If payment has not yet been made, the customer is released from the obligation to pay. meteo.shop is not obliged to make a replacement delivery in the event of termination of the contract.

Purchase articles

If you have purchase items in your shopping cart, you can buy the item bindingly (choose the appropriate payment method). Regular customers and companies receive the delivery on invoice (subject to credit check). Private and companies can also pay via bank transfer, Paypal/credit card or bank transfer (prepayment).

The item prices in the shop are in CHF (or EURO) and include VAT.  Possible forwarding expenses are, if not differently intended, additionally charged and are to be paid by the customer. Shipping costs are shown separately in the order process and are calculated according to place of delivery and weight. In the case of promotions, the delivery costs can be completely omitted.

Terms of payment and retention of title

The customer has access to the payment options indicated in the order process. meteo.shop reserves the right to exclude customers from individual payment options without giving reasons or to change to the payment method prepayment. The products delivered to the customer remain the property of meteo.shop or bcws.ch GmbH until full payment has been received.

Delivery, inspection obligation, notification of defects and return shipment

Deliveries are made by post or courier to the address indicated by the customer in the order. The invoice will be sent by email or by post. With the dispatch benefit and risk are transferred to the customer, as far as this is legally permissible.

If the delivery is not deliverable or if the customer refuses to accept the delivery, meteo.shop can dissolve the contract after notification of a complaint by email to the customer and setting a reasonable deadline and charge the costs for the activities.

The customer is obliged to inspect the delivered goods immediately after receipt of the delivery and to report any defects for which meteo.shop warrants immediately in writing by letter or email to the address in the imprint.

Returns to meteo.shop are at the expense and risk of the customer. The customer must send the goods in their original packaging, complete with all accessories and together with the delivery note and a detailed description of the defects to the return address specified by meteo.shop in the imprint.

If the inspection by meteo.shop shows that the goods have no detectable defects or that these are not covered by the manufacturer's warranty, meteo.shop can charge the customer for the activities, the return or any disposal.

Liability

meteo.shop excludes any liability, regardless of its legal basis, as well as claims for damages against meteo.shop and any auxiliary persons and vicarious agents. In particular, meteo.shop is not liable for indirect damages and consequential damages, loss of profit or other personal injury, property damage or pure financial loss of the customer. Further mandatory legal liability is reserved, for example for gross negligence or unlawful intent.

meteo.shop uses hyperlinks only for the simplified access of the customer to other web offers. meteo.shop can neither know the content of these websites in detail, nor assume liability or other responsibility for the content of these websites.

Claims for damages arising from impossibility of performance, from breach of contract, from culpa in contrahendo and from tort are excluded both against us and against our partners involved, unless intentional or grossly negligent action is present. Any liability for consequential damages resulting from the use of the products shall be rejected.

The place of jurisdiction for any disputes shall be Solothurn.
