The Vantage Vue wireless weather station, the top entry-level model for weather enthusiasts.

The new Vantage Vue weather station combines the accuracy and consistency common to Davis - weather stations in a compact station that is easy to install and operate. It is more than Davis' new entry-level model.

The Vantage Vue consists of a slim but durable sensor unit for weather data measurement and a distinctive LCD - console. This unique weather center provides much additional information to the measured weather data.

The Vantage Vue is radio frequency compatible with the Vantage Pro II, meaning that the VPII's console and repeaters can also be used with the Vue.

The VV (Vantage Vue) is only available as a wireless model (transmission distance max. 300m without repeater).

The Davis WeatherLink Console 6313 makes all data from the Vantage Pro2 or Vantage Vue sensor suite directly available. The 6313's touch screen monitor provides easy and instant access to the information you need.

From viewing current and historical data, creating graphs and setting alarms, to calculating indices and reviewing forecasts, the WeatherLink console helps keep track of measured values.

The brilliant HD touchscreen makes it easy to navigate and analyze locally measured weather data or view the latest weather conditions from anywhere in the room. The dynamic dashboard can also be customized to display up to 21 parameters at a glance: from temperature to wind to rain or UV and global radiation, as well as ground probe readings.

Hundreds of alarms can be set to be notified when monitored readings change. For example, when temperatures approach a critical point for outdoor work or when wind speed exceeds a certain limit (storm!). With a full database of historical data stored directly on the console, the console provides easy access to graphs of data from the last 24 hours, last month, or previous year.

The WeatherLink Console 6313 is a fully functional and powerful data display, storage and analysis tool in its own right. No Wi-Fi is required for operation. Of course, the console can connect to Wi-Fi to upload data to the WeatherLink cloud and store data safely and securely as well.

Remark:
The console 6313 behaves (info from data sheet) in the network (WLAN) like a Davis WL6100. Thus it will be able to be addressed in all probability problem-free by a weatherBoxx/meteobridge. Details see below.

ist es von Vorteil, ein sehr offenes Interface zu verwenden. Dieses Interface steht Ihnen in form der weatherBoxx (meteobridge) zur Verfügung. Die Anwendungsmöglichkeiten sind fast unbegrenzt. Das Zusammenspiel mit der Wetterstation, funktioniert folgendermassen:

Die Konsole 6313 kann leider nicht lokal über das WLAN angesprochen werden.

Verwenden Sie dazu als Zusatz die WL6100 von Davis und die weatherBoxx easy. Diese kann via IP und Portangabe angesprochen werden. Man kann an einer WL6100 mehrere Stationen (ISS, Spezialsender) parallel betreiben und jede Station hat ihren eigenen Port.

usw.

Man trägt z.B. 192.168.1.19:22223 als „Datenlogger“ ein und kann ohne Probleme die Konsole mit der weatherBoxx direkt auslesen.

Wobei "192.168.1.19" natürlich mit Ihrer IP der Konsole ersetzt werden muss. Damit die WL6100 immer die selbe IP erhält, trägt man die MAC der des WL6100 einfach im Router als "Static DHCP" ein.

Alternativ kann die weatherBoxx PRO red oder die PRO2 verwendet werden. Dann benötigt man kein WL6100, die PRO red und PRO2 empfangen die Funksignale der Ausseneinheit direkt.
